Tim Butala and Tim Higgins first met as incoming high school basketball recruits to MIT. They became teammates, fraternity brothers, and lifelong friends. The inspiration for Windbreaker.ai came from a real-world problem at O'Keefe Controls, a family-run manufacturing company. Tim B. witnessed firsthand how valuable time was lost to manual coordination between systems that should work seamlessly together. Customer emails sat unprocessed, orders required multiple manual handoffs, and critical information fell through the cracks.

In 2025, we founded Windbreaker.ai with a mission to eliminate these operational inefficiencies. Our core philosophy is that AI should amplify human capabilities, not replace human judgment.
